Grimm Tidings Studios is a small team of indie artists and animators spanning across the world. What started as a group of three friends quickly expanded and developed out of a love and appreciation for the art. Now our goal is to make rich and engaging stories targeted at teens and young adults through the power of animation.

Ruby (Tina Mickel), Weiss (Abby Brenner), Blake (Ari Thrash) and Yang (ZippyDoesVoices) approach the end of their second year of Beacon, an academy that trains the world’s strongest fighters. However, things go astray on one of their final missions together, and the world as they know it changes forever…

  • In-depth knowledge of animation principles, timing, weight and staging.

  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Ability to work independently and within a team.

  • REQUIRED to provide demo reel, showcasing your skills.

  • Expected to have short-medium turnaround on shots.

  • Be present for bi-weekly check-ins.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Blender.

  • Knowledge of Google Drive.

Compositor

Animation Compositor

Expectations

  • Experience compositing 'anime' styled shots.

  • In-depth knowledge of compositing characters, weapons, environments, and vfx.

  • Proficient in After Effects.

  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Ability to work independently and within a team.

  • REQUIRED to provide demo reel, showcasing your skills.

  • Expected to have short-medium turnaround on shots.

  • Be present for bi-weekly check-ins.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve.

  • Experience working with multiple passes.

  • Knowledge of Google Drive.
